I am a steward and member of the leadership team and I have the privilege of being involved in the worship and prayer life of the church.
Worship is at the heart of who we are and defines our relationship with God. I am passionate about sharing the good news about Jesus with others including children and adults and am keen for people to discover that personal relationship with God through prayer.
As a worship leader I am involved organising a café style service, where we welcome visitors to share a message of their journey of faith. We look forward to welcoming you to a cup of coffee and cake on the third Sunday of the month. Look out for forthcoming events.
During Covid this has been a difficult time but we have continued to meet for worship via Zoom and I have been coordinating many knitted angels to be posted around the community to bring a ray of hope into your lives. I hope you have seen them. As of August we have managed to post over 200 angels around Greasby.

I have worshipped at Greasby Methodist Church for over 60 years and am currently a Steward and a member of the Leadership Team with responsibility for our Schools and Families Mission
I am Cradle Roll Secretary and love sharing in our Baptism services. It is a joy to keep in touch with families as we welcome you all to Teddy Bear Service and Picnics (please do remember to bring your teddy bears!) as well as having Breakfast with Santa at Christmas and other opportunities for family worship such as the Nativity services and Christingle.
I run the Toddlers group with Sue Farrelly on Monday mornings and you are very welcome to join us for activities, refreshments, singing and a prayer each week during term time
I liaise with Brookdale Primary School, Greasby Infant School and Greasby Junior School to organise the annual Hope Journey programme. It is a blessing that all the children come into church to enjoy these sessions each year. I work with the Ecumenical Assembly Team led by Ken Owen, Vicar of St Johns CoE to offer assemblies to the schools on alternate weeks.
I co-ordinate the Christmas Knitted Angels – do look out for them in December!
I would love to hear from you, please contact me church phone 0151 677 5127 or emailing office@greasbymethodistchurch.org.uk

I am a church steward and a member of the Leadership Team. I am also the Pastoral secretary with responsibility for caring and looking out for all our wonderful Pastoral visitors. We have a team of people, who each care for about 6 members of our congregation, phoning and visiting them, now more than ever is this care needed, as a result of the Covid virus. This is especially true for those who live alone. A simple phone call shows that someone cares.
I am also the Shoebox co-ordinator for Teams 4U. We fill shoeboxes for the children of Eastern Europe, to receive a present each Christmas. As I now live in Willaston, I collect boxes from Willaston Methodist Church and Christchurch as well. Last year we sent almost 200 boxes from the 3 churches. This is a wonderful way to show God’s love in a shoebox.
I have also been involved in most of our Hope Journey activities with the children from our 3 schools. It is always a delight to see their faces as we relive the stories of Jesus to them.
